How to Cook Rosemary Garlic Roasted Potatoes

This recipe for rosemary roasted potatoes will be a nice upgrade from the more basic roasted potatoes recipe introduced here a few weeks ago. It’s no more difficult to prepare but definitely seasoned better.

Rosemary Garlic Roasted Potato Ingredients

You’ll need some nice roasting potatoes, some olive oil, and a bit of rosemary and garlic.

How to Cook Roasted Potatoes

Before you start, begin preheating your oven to about 375 degrees. This won’t take you long.

The first thing to do is cut six or seven decent sized potatoes into cubes or wedges or whatever your preference is. Wedges look better though, so do that.

Now pour a quarter cup of oil into a bowl large enough to fit your potatoes. Add two tablespoons of freshly chopped garlic and two to three tablespoons of chopped rosemary. Also, add a half teaspoon of salt. Mix the oil and spices.

Now, just add your potatoes. You’ll want to ensure they’re thoroughly covered with the oil and spices so that everything cooks evenly.

Now put them on a baking sheet and cook for about fifty minutes.

Be sure to turn them once or twice throughout the process. At the very minimum, use a spatula to roll them half way through so that one side doesn’t stay against the baking sheet throughout the entire cooking process.
