Meatloaf is a staple for many families. It’s an easy to prepare and hardy food with leftovers that make for delicious sandwiches. It only takes about five minutes to prepare and an hour to cook a good meatloaf.
Meatloaf Ingredients
Things you’ll need:
- Two pounds of ground beef
- An egg
- An onion
- Some dry oatmeal
- A can of tomato paste
Salt and pepper are optional, as per usual.
How to Cook Meatloaf
This isn’t going to take long so start preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Start preheating first, trust me.
Chop your onion into fairly large pieces, about a quarter of an inch to half an inch each.
Then just mix all the ingredients together and add to a loaf baking pan. Or just make it a big lump on a regular baking sheet. It won’t be as loafy, though.
And that is it. Now all you need to do is cook it for about fifty to sixty minutes.
That’s meatloaf. But you already knew cooking meatloaf was easy.
Tips for Cooking Meatloaf
Wrap the whole thing in a bacon weave for a more impressive and delicious loaf.
Don’t be scared to branch out into shepherd’s pie. It’s not much more difficult to make.
